Education in Prosthetics & Orthotics is now entering in a new era in India with the introduction of Master’s level programmes; these disciplines have become far more academic & research oriented. However, the P&O education in India is still far behind, in achieving core competencies. The new concepts such as Problem Based Learning (PBL) & Outcome Based Education (OBE) etc. are promising.
ISHWAR Institute of Prosthetics & Orthotics (IIPO) aims to bridge this gap and shall help develop the education in P&O discipline using PBL & OBE with a high level of mentorship |
